Welcome to Denizen MKE. We are more than just another event venue. Denizen MKE is deeply rooted in our community, strives to offer support and care throughout planning your event and works to redefine what a small, intimate event can be.

Most days I can be found with a watercolor brush in hand and, unfortunately, dirt under my finger nails. I am a plant enthusiast. I'm a bit messy, a little rebellious, and live my life by moon phases and astrology. If wedding planning has taught me one thing, it is that all of us have a unique story like this; full of quirks and personality that pen and paper can never do justice to. That story needs to be present in every event. It is my goal to build that with each couple who comes through our door. Are you ready to dream up the perfect event with me? I cannot wait to hear from you!

And none of this would be possible without the help of my wife, Rachael. Find yourself a partner that lets you chase your dreams with unwavering support. She is my biggest cheerleader and my best friend.

Denizen MKE is woman owned, lgbt owned and, best of all, locally owned. Residing just blocks away from the venue, we are invested in our neighborhood. We are working to create something truly special that has a positive impact on the community. We value the environment, diversity, inclusion and flexibility. Denizen MKE was built to offer a luxury feel that is attainable for everyone while making a positive impact in the areas that are important to us. In 2024, we not only will bring life to a once boarded up property, we will build a beautiful green space, start a composting program for our caterers, banish single use plastics in our space, and continue to find ways to make a positive impact.
